foot_with_sad_faceExcuse me. Hey you! Yes, you up there. Down here. It’s us, your feet. We have a few things to talk to you about. We’re sick and tired of you walking all over us, stepping on our toes, and sidestepping the issues here. What issues? Are you kidding? Are you seriously ignoring the foot pain that you’re causing us? Well, let us lay it out for you, one step at a time.

First of all, you’ve been spending so much time and energy trying to ignore the pain you're causing us, we’ve had to resort to actually speaking to you, which you know is ridiculous, but whether it’s all in your mind or not, we’ve got your attention.

If you continue running through life like this, trying to push through the pain, it will only get worse! That’s a lot of pressure for us – literally, up to four times your body weight when you’re running from place to place. We want to be heard and felt – ears, help us out here! – so take a few moments to jot down these foot notes.

We want to support you, but we can’t in these shoes! Please, go shopping – preferably in the afternoon after you’ve been on your feet for a while – and find some shoes that fit your feet properly. You’re looking for a good, strong sole, wide toe box so our toes don’t get crunched, and something that feels comfortable to you.

Please don’t waste your money on over-the-counter shoe inserts that offer gel cushioning or massage magic – they actually don’t, and if you’re going to go the shoe insert route, get fitted for custom orthotics. You know the feeling of a tailored suit that fits you just right? That’s how custom orthotics feel to us – they fit us and us alone, helping to correct all our problem areas.

Ultimately though, orthotic shoe inserts just manage the foot pain we’re feeling. You don’t even know us, and it’s truly hurtful. If you really cared, you would have noticed the toenail fungus on your big toe. You would have changed your exercise schedule to deal with your plantar fasciitis. If you paid attention at all to us, you would know that bony bump on your big toe, being aggravated day in and day out, is actually a bunion and makes us feel extremely ugly and self-conscience.

But enough about us. This is actually about you. It’s time we put our feet down. You need to get foot treatment for the issues causing us chronic pain. What, are you scared of the foot doctor or something? Well, lucky for you we’ve already found the best podiatrist in NYC.

The New York podiatrists at Adler Footcare offer the latest advancements in podiatry. Start by asking about the HyProCure® device, a small titanium stent that is placed between your ankle bone and heel bone in an outpatient minimally invasive procedure to correct foot misalignment. Correcting this issue will correct a multitude of other foot problems. Your knees, hips, back, and neck will thank you too!

We want to take you for long walks on the beach leaving our foot prints in the sand, run like the wind through the park, and simply walk through the rest of our life together foot pain free. It’s time to take a big step forward and contact the best podiatrist in NYC at Adler Footcare. They believe feet shouldn’t hurt and neither should their treatment – and we agree!
