hand_word_cloud_personal_coachingYou know your feet are in good hands when your New York podiatrist is invited to speak at a prestigious seminar in the world of podiatry. Dr. Adler and his team of New York podiatrists were invited to speak at The Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery (AAFAS) Cadaver Surgical Seminar with LSU Medical School in New Orleans January 22-24.

The AAFAS seminar offers continuing education in the field of podiatric medicine. Podiatrists from all over the world come to learn about the newest advances that have been made for the treatment of foot and ankle problems.

Dr. Jeffrey Adler and Dr. Darline Kulhan from Adler Footcare both lectured on stem cell treatment. Dr. Alex Tievsky from Adler Footcare partnered with Dr. Michael Graham, the inventor of HyProCure® treatment, to speak about the HyProCure® implant and how it works. Adler Footcare offers both of these treatments for foot pain in its New York offices located in Manhattan and White Plains, and has seen remarkable results.

Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cell treatment uses live-birth stem cells taken from the amniotic sac of live birth C-sections that are injected into the area of the foot or ankle joint causing the pain. Since these stem cells haven’t yet determined their role in the body, they have the ability to turn into anything. So, if they are injected into a place where the cartilage is worn down or irritated, they will regenerate new, healthy cartilage.

The result: This treatment speeds healing twice as fast as well as reduces pain and post-treatment swelling. Adler Footcare has been using it for 2 ½ years and hasn’t had one negative result.

HyProCure® Treatment

The HyProCure® procedure uses a minimally invasive technique (done by making a very small incision the size of a pinprick) to place a titanium stent in the natural space between the ankle and heel bone. It’s used to correct the misalignment of the feet, which not only causes hyperpronation and foot pain, but also pain in the knees, hip, back and neck.

The result: This procedure has a 96% success rate. Post-treatment, patients walk out of the office in a walking boot and are in their own shoes within 3 to 5 days. The stent is fully settled into its correct position within 6 weeks. Adler Footcare is recognized as a HyProCure® Center of Excellence.
