Sometimes you’re faced with an issue, like foot pain, which is caused by an underlying problem, but you don’t really know how to fix it. It’s easier to think, “out of sight, out of mind” even though the issue is always in the back of your mind. It’s kind of like when you sit down for lunch at a table that is off balance.

You might try a few things to fix the wobbly table, like putting a napkin under one of the legs, or placing something heavy on the opposite end of the table for balance. But it doesn’t solve your wobbly table problem that causes you to spill your drink or distracts you from the conversation. The only thing that will is fixing the underlying issue and replacing the short table leg.

When your feet are misaligned, you are the wobbly table.
